HOME RUN!!

Tonight Parker's team won their game against Tigard. The final score was 15 to 11. As you can probably guess from the title of this post, PARKER HIT A HOME RUN! We are so proud!
Shout out also goes to Jordan and Jalon who hit homers on Wednesday and to Maverick and Mario who joined Parker tonight as Home Run Kings!
Nice job Beaverton. Beaverton Baseball?? YOU BET!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Well...I suppose that depends on who you ask. We have been busy the last several weeks with baseball practices, baseball games, baseball tournaments, I love it! Coach Wayne, Parker, and I have enjoyed the activities. Piper on the other hand, would prefer NOT to sit at a park all day watching game after game after game. What's wrong with her?!


Parker is at Jr High camp this week with the youth group. He'll be home on Friday and back into the team uniform playing a games on Friday night and Saturday. These are some pictures of Parker from his tournament in Oregon City.

Trouble in Beaver land....

Parkers team had a bye on Monday followed by a dissapointing loss on Wednesday Night to Westview (West-Who?)...I won't publish the score here...but I will publish an emmbarrasing picture of Parker for every loss we suffer this year...

And since Miss "Thang" has decided once again to treat her Schoolwork as an optional activity...one of her goes up here too....so unfair isn't it? (hehehehehehehehehe)

I don't know if it will motivate either of them to do what it takes to figure out their own individual challenges...but it will sure make me feel better!!

Also, In other news - Jay the Kids and I are getting some pictures taken by Daniel Stark, Our wedding photographer this weekend - hoe to have some good ones of the kiddos and us up here real soon!!

Catching Up...

Hey there Sports Fans - Dad Here.

Since I have been working on the Wedding Blog - I decided to help Jaylin out with this one also. We have been very busy these past couple of months with march Madness (birthday madness that is) Wedding plans...Baseball...Choir Concerts...Spring Formals...and if you ask the kids...HOMEWORK HOMEWORK HOMEWORK!!!

I will be helping to catch some pics up here and hopefully adding some music, links and fun content to the site to make it more inviting.

We have really enjoyed getting to hang out with lots of Family over the past few months and I think the best thing to do is post a slide show...so look for it coming soon...

What a full weekend!

This weekend was a birthday extravaganza weekend. The Ryan Family Clan came over on Friday night for a birthday party. Wayne’s mom, a.k.a. “Grammy Jo” turned 60 this past week. What a treat to get together with family to honor her! It was a night of family bonding (and sucking helium from balloons).

Parker went to his friend Joe’s for a birthday over-nighter on Saturday and judging by the amount of sleep in his eyes and dirt on his clothes when we picked him up on Sunday, he had a really fun time.

Yesterday we got to go to Matt and Shannon’s to celebrate Sophia’s FIRST birthday! Where has this year gone? Sophia, of course, was cute as ever. I couldn’t help but think how confusing it all must have been for her when we all stood around smiling and snapping pictures as we sang to her, set her food on fire, and watched her get messy eating until she was begging to get out of the high-chair. Good thing we only put her through that once a year. It was pretty funny watching her try to eat her cupcake without getting her hands icky...at least at first. She caught on and there were plenty of sticky-first-birthday-cake-faced-candids. I do wonder how long it took to get all of the chocolate frosting out of her little nose.

Uncle Wayne insisted Sophia get a guitar for her birthday. We can’t wait to see her ROCK OUT…or more likely play some sweet, soulful folk music…Jim Croce perhaps?

It was a weekend of family and fun!
